CLASS LEVELS
Class levels are a general guideline.

All Levels:  Students from beginning to advanced level would enjoy and benefit from this class.
Beginning:  For students with no training up to one year of training in one or more disciplines. Class incorporates basic dance vocabulary, placement and movement in a specific technique. Excellent for students returning to dance after an extended absence.
Intermediate: For students with at least one to two years of training. Emphasizes greater development of techniques.  Faster paced, more challenging combinations and strengthening of skills, including jumps and turns.
Advanced: For skilled dancers, classes emphasize complex combinations and mastering of dance as an art form.

WHAT DO I WEAR ON MY FEET?

Modern: Barefeet (preferred), socks acceptable. No sneakers.
Ballet: Ballet slippers (preferred), socks acceptable. No barefeet or sneakers.
Bellydance:  jazz shoes, barefeet or socks
Hip Hop:  Sneakers (preferred), barefeet acceptable.
Pilates:  Barefeet
Tap:  tap shoes
Jazz:  jazz shoes, ballet shoes, barefeet or socks
Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement:  barefeet or socks
