Studio Policy

No one will be permitted to take class without their class card or single class payments. There will be no exceptions.

Class cards are valid only through the date stated on the card (if applicable), and are non-refundable and non-transferable.

THE DANCELOFT reserves the right to cancel any class due to insufficient attendance.

THE DANCELOFT is not responsible for loss of, or damage to, personal property.

There will be a $25 fee charged for returned checks.

THE DANCELOFT reserves the right to engage substitutes for classes when the regular teacher is absent. No credits or refunds will be issued in this case.

THE DANCELOFT reserves the right to bar any student from entering class or to remove any student from class due to disorderly conduct/disruptive behavior or for any other reason determined by management as unsuitable behavior.

THE DANCELOFT and its instructors are not liable for any injuries sustained while in class, or on the premises. As with any fitness program, you should contact your physician for approval and any limitations you need to follow. Please notify instructor(s) if you have any concerns about physical problems or injuries. Always work at your own pace.

Shoe Policy and "what to wear on my feet?"

**Street shoes are not permitted in the studio at any time. Please see our dance shoe guidelines above for instruction on proper footwear.

Modern: Barefeet (preferred), socks acceptable. No sneakers.
Ballet: Ballet slippers (preferred), socks acceptable. No barefeet or sneakers.
Bellydance: jazz shoes, barefeet or socks
Hip Hop: Sneakers (preferred), barefeet acceptable.
Jazz: jazz shoes, ballet shoes, barefeet or socks
Feldenkrais Awareness Through Movement: barefeet or socks
SavoyFit: socks or ballet slippers(for ballet portion), sneakers or shoes with dance suede
