If you take class and find that movements are too complicated or challenging, understand that this is a normal feeling. One needs to take a class several times to allow their body to acquire a certain amount of muscle memory, stamina and strength. It does get easier, but once is not enough. In general, please note that our classes are geared to challenge you and take you to places you have never been before in the way of body awareness, fitness or artistry. Please consult your instructor for alternative exercises or moves that can better match your pace until you build up strength, stamina and coordination. Always work at your own pace.Dance provides many components of a well rounded fitness program. It also combines utilization of the body, mind, and most essentially, the spirit. If anyone is looking for it all, dance is where you can find it. Remember there's nothing you can't do-- have fun!! |
